With PMIs soaring to multi-year highs earlier in the week, US durable goods orders were expected to be mixed in preliminary August data.

Poll Finds 64 Percent Of Americans Say AI Is Developing Too Fast

A new poll indicates that 64 percent of Americans believe artificial intelligence (AI) is developing "too fast."
The Associated Press-NORC Center poll released on Oct. 8 indicated that just 27 percent say the development is "about right," and less than 10 percent think it's moving "too slow."
