IBM Announces Five-Year, $10BN Quantum Investment IBM is set to invest more than $10 billion in quantum computing over the next five years. According to the company, the investment will cover R&D, capex, manufacturing scaling, ecosystem partnerships, and M&A; areas that IBM says will help accelerate its quantum roadmap beyond 2029, when it expects to deliver the world's first large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computer.
