Microsoft Slides After Amending OpenAI Partnership, Will No Longer Pay Revenue Share Microsoft and OpenAI announced an amended agreement to "simplify" their partnership structure and to change Microsoft’s license to be non-exclusive and it no longer paying a revenue share to OpenAI. As a result of the amendment, Microsoft remains OpenAI’s primary cloud partner, and OpenAI products will ship first on Azure.
